ASUS P5N-D Realtek HD Audio Static Problem
August 18th, 2009 | Posted in Tech/GamingRecently I purchased an ASUS P5N-D motherboard to replace the one that failed in my Dell 8400. This ended up being a Dell proprietary nightmare and needless to say I ended up with nearly a whole new rig. Since setting it up, I had to iron out a few kinks. One of which was an [...]
A Few Thoughts on Ubuntu One
May 13th, 2009 | Posted in Tech/GamingCanonical has released it’s beta version of it’s first cloud-based operating system synchronization software, Ubuntu One. For anyone who knows me, I love Ubuntu and Dropbox. Although this is making big news, I am not very excited. Cloud-based operating system synchronization software is a great idea; however, it will inevitably fail as the de facto [...]
Staying Organized and Developing Incrementally
February 28th, 2009 | Posted in Design, Tech/GamingAs promised in an earlier post, I will be discussing the importance of organization and the use of various tools to help keep progressive development. In the past I used to think that if you were going to write blog posts you had to sit down for an hour and think of your topic, research, [...]

Welcome to My Page of Work and Projects
While I was working as a student employee for Bridgewater State College I did some work for their Residence Networking / Telecommunications Department (sorry, website has changed since graduating). There they gave me the freedom to play around with the site and give it new life and easier navigation features like hovering over links and having that display menus. Once I graduated Bridgewater State College I was contacted by award winning knife maker, RJ Martin. He wanted me to revamp his website RJ Martin Custom Knives and become his Webmaster. RJ is a talented custom knife maker who makes all of his knives from scratch. Go on over to Rjmartinknives.com and check them out! I currently work for myself and EMC Corp, the world leader in data storage. I work in the Problem Resolution and Escalation Management OS/API UNIX department doing technical support for most of EMC’s products involving UNIX based operating systems. I am responsible for dealing with fortune 500 companies, government agencies, as well as, other organizations. I have received my EMC Proven Professional certification. This certification states that I am skilled in the knowledge of all EMC products, as well as, some networking and system administration foundations. I have been gaining extensive expertise on the Symmetrix Storage array and establishing myself as a subject matter expert in that division. Currently I am halfway through in getting my EMC Symmetrix Technology Architect Specialist certification. As far as being self employed goes, I work on my off time fixing, setting up, tutoring, building computers. As noted earlier, I make websites for various people, including the work that I have done with RJ Martin Custom Knives and Bridgewater State College’s Residence Networking / Telecommunications Department. If you are interested in the work that I do and would like me to do a project for you please use my contact form. Have you worked with me before? Feel free to give your comments below! At home, I am currently running and getting myself involved in Ubuntu. I assisted the creator of the Deep Green theme resolving a bug with Banshee that will be incorporated into the next release. It’s Time to Disqus
August 29th, 2010 | Posted in New Post, On the WebOver the past month or so I have visited a few sites. I commented on various articles and I couldn’t help but notice, they all had a pretty cool comment system. Normally, I wouldn’t have payed much attention but, I started noticing it was giving me statistics on my comments from other websites. After researching, [...]
