Marijuana dealers offer Schwarzenegger $1,000,000,000

A coalition of California marijuana growers and dealers has offered Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger one billion dollars to solve the current state budget crisis. According to economic studies, regulation and taxation of marijuana could produce six billion dollars in additional tax revenue. “Marijuana legalization is inevitable,” Schaffer says.

Farmers sue DEA to allow them to grow industrial hemp

Two farmers granted the first licenses in the nation to grow industrial hemp filed a federal lawsuit to get final permission from the Drug Enforcement Administration. “What they say is hemp, we say is marijuana,” said Garrison Courtney, a spokesman for the DEA in Washington.
